I am a Japanese American woman living in NYC specializing in data analytics and data cleaning. I am skilled in programming languages such as Python and R. I am proficient in utilizing libraries such as NumPy, Pandas, Matplotlib, and Scikit-Learn to implement and optimize ML algorithms. Additionally, I possess strong expertise in SQL and Microsoft Excel. My career objective is to secure a full-time entry-level position or internship in a dynamic and growth-oriented organization.

I am currently interning as a Database Analytics Intern at New York City FC! My main roles are providing and presenting social media analytics, maintaining customer databases, and cleaning and organizing customer and ticket data. Previously, I have gained experience as an IT Desktop Intern at the United States Tennis Association, where I implemented automated desktop imaging processes that increased operational efficiency. At Penguin Random House, I specialized in troubleshooting and managing font technology, achieving a high success resolution rate.
Academics π
I graduated Molloy University in 2024 with a B.S. in Computer Information Systems! Alongside my academic pursuits, I have also graduated from the Break Through Tech AI Fellowship in New York. As a part of this distinguished fellowship run by Cornell Tech, I was part of a rigorous 11-month program that emphasized hands-on experience in AI and ML. I have gained in-depth knowledge of cutting-edge AI and ML concepts and methodologies, and had the opportunity to collaborate with my peers to work on real-world projects. Examples include sentiment analysis for book reviews, and predicting age based on features such as income and marital status.
Activities π₯
For the past two years, I previously led Molloy University's Anime Club as its Vice President. This role has not only given me a platform to showcase my leadership skills, but it has also provided me with an opportunity to pursue my personal interest in anime! I am responsible for organizing and running events such as our cultural trips to Manhattan, art contests, and movie nights for charity!
